RPM Orchestra is a proto-Industrial Americana music quintet based in Phoenix, Arizona. The orchestra composes and performs original scores to accompany films of the Silent Era, [1] provides musical scores in collaborative multidisciplinary performances, records soundtrack music for contemporary films, and regularly performs at various music venues.
RPM Records was an American Los Angeles–based record label launched in 1950. This is not the same RPM used by Tony Bennett , nor is it related to labels in the UK and South Africa. RPM was a subsidiary of Modern Records and part of the Bihari Brothers record empire.
